Kiesha's father spotted near her home

The biological father of missing girl Kiesha Abrahams was spotted near her apartment block on the day she went missing.

Chris Weippeart, 27, will today be quizzed by police after new evidence allegedly placed him near the six-year-old’s home in Mt Druitt on August 1.

Mr Weippeart has denied any involvement in Kiesha’s disappearance and maintains he has not seen his daughter since he split with her mother Kristi Abrahams four years ago.

Mr Weippeart’s mother Liz also rubbished the claim, saying her son had major surgery to his foot just before Kiesha went missing.

“I am furious. Christopher had just come out of hospital then, he could barely get around,” she said.

“Someone is causing trouble,” his mother Liz said.

Mrs Weippeart said she was angry police had largely kept her son in the dark since the six-year-old disappeared.

Mr Weippeart, who has said he always maintained child support payments, was interviewed by police on the day Kiesha went missing and then again a few days later.

He has said he spent August 1 at home with his mother before heading to a tattoo studio.

The report comes a day after a psychic who claims to have had spiritual contact with Kiesha said her sister may know about the circumstances of her disappearance.
